Abstract Submission Guidelines

Submit the completed Abstract Submission Form to jbcs2026-abs@c.inter-plan.co.jp in accordance with the regulations outlined below. The form can be downloaded from the bottom of this page.

Abstract Format and Limits

Abstract Title Limited to 100 characters (including spaces)
Abstract Body • Without a Figure/Table: Limited to 2,000 characters (including spaces)
• With a Figure/Table: Limited to 1,400 characters (including spaces)
Figure/Table Limited to 1 figure or table
Only JPEG or GIF formats are accepted.
Authors Limited to 20 authors
Affiliations Limited to 20 affiliations
  • Please do not submit duplicate abstracts.
  • Late submissions will not be accepted.

Presentation Type

We call for abstracts for General and Encore Presentations. The presentation format will be determined based on the results of peer review.

General Presentation

There will be two presentation formats as shown below.

  • Excellent Oral Presentations
    Outstanding results and innovative work will be accepted as Excellent Oral Presentations.
  • Poster Presentations
    Posters will be displayed and presented in the exhibition area.

Encore Presentation

  • Only abstracts that have been presented at a conference outside Japan within the past year (on or after June 25, 2025) are eligible. Presentations at domestic conferences are not accepted.
  • In the abstract submission form, please provide the name of the conference where the work was first presented, the title of the abstract, the date of presentation, and the presentation format (e.g., symposium, oral, poster).
    If the presentation has not yet taken place at the time of submission, please provide the name of the conference where it is scheduled, the title, the date, and the planned presentation format.
  • The content must faithfully reflect the data and interpretation of the initial presentation.
  • If the work is subject to copyright, it is the responsibility of the presenter to obtain permission from the copyright holder.
    If the copyright holder is a conference or publisher, please indicate that permission has been obtained, and include the source information (e.g., citation from the original abstract book) at the end of your abstract.
    This means that presenters themselves are responsible for obtaining approval from the original conference (as the copyright holder) to re-present their work at this Meeting.

Release of Presentation Data

Presentation data will be available on our website for approximately 3 months after the Meeting.
Please indicate your consent in the submission form.

On-demand Streaming

Although the provision of on-demand streaming has not yet been decided, please indicate whether you would consent to your presentation being used for this purpose if implemented.

Conflict of Interest Disclosure

Authors are required to disclose any relevant COI (Conflict of Interest) within the past three years by completing the “Conflict of Interest Disclosure” section in the Abstract Submission Form.

Notification of Acceptance

Notifications will be sent by e-mail in April 2026.

Hybrid Meeting

  • JBCS2026 will be held as a Hybrid Meeting (Onsite & Online).
  • Further details will be announced in due course.

Travel Grant

  • JBCS2026 Organizing Committee encourages breast care specialists from outside Japan to submit abstracts for General and Encore presentations.
  • After reviewing the guidelines below, please submit your abstract.
  • All applicants submitting abstracts are eligible to apply for the Travel Grant.

Guidelines

  1. Applicants must be breast care specialists affiliated with institutions outside Japan.
  2. The applicant must be the first author and the presenting author.
  3. Travel grants will be provided to awardees after their presentations onsite.
  4. Complimentary accommodation will not be provided. Travel and lodging arrangements are the responsibility of the applicant.
  5. Result of the review will be announced in the acceptance notifications e-mail in April, 2026.
  6. There are no age restrictions.
